I directed the development of the Walmart Plus sub-brand, working alongside agencies like Publicis and Deutsch. This initiative was designed to rival major subscription services, positioning Walmart as a competitive force in the subscription-based retail space.

Walmart Rewards
My internal team was responsible for creating graphics, icons, and animations for the Walmart Rewards program, which were integrated into the site’s UI and used in marketing campaigns. Initially rolled out to Walmart Plus customers, the program later expanded to all customers. This was one of several sub-branding projects we took on, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across platforms.
Advertising
This series of TV commercials for Walmart Plus, produced by Deutsch LA, was also adapted for social media platforms. The ads highlighted the convenience and value of Walmart Plus, focusing on its competitive advantages in the subscription market. Through engaging storytelling and high-quality visuals, the campaign connected with Walmart’s diverse customer base across various digital channels, driving awareness and subscriptions.
Holiday
The holiday season marked a significant ramp-up, with creative assets increasing by 400% or more. I directed the creation of site assets in-house and reviewed all holiday assets for social media and advertising, collaborating closely with agencies like Deutsch LA and Publicis. The holiday TV commercials and social media adaptations were designed to capture the festive spirit while emphasizing the value of Walmart Plus subscriptions. These high-impact campaigns helped drive significant customer engagement during the year’s busiest shopping season.
